APSCC brings individuals in the industry together to work as a powerful collective voice for the Asia-Pacific. The organisation also works to develop, expedite and broaden the distribution of new services via satellite in the region, and assists in the formulation of recommendations on policies, regulations and technical standards within the region and around the world.

  • WBU-IMCG Founded in 1985, the International Media Connectivity Group (…formerly known as WBU-ISOG) is a committee of the World Broadcasting Unions. IMCG provides a global forum for members of the WBU to exchange information, outline requirements and resolve common operational problems. WBU-IMCG’s mission is to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions for all operational matters associated with transmission (by satellite or any other means) of video, audio, and broadcast-related data material from sites of news, sports, special events and entertainment, and to work with all international groups, institutions, organizations, and appropriate bodies to achieve these solutions. In this endeavour WBU-IMCG reflects one of the aims of the WBU by including and supporting the needs and requirements of broadcasters around the world. WBU-IMCG meetings are held twice a year and permit open dialogue from an international perspective on key satellite communications issues. WBU-IMCG is a tri-partite organization whose participants include members from the WBU including broadcasters, satellite and fibre optic carriers, transmission service providers and invited participants associated with the industry.
  • GVF Headquartered in London and with a regional office in Washington, D.C., the Global VSAT Forum is a non-profit satellite communications trade association that comprises more than 200 companies from every major region of the world and from all sectors of the industry. The organisation’s mission is to facilitate improved access to satellite communications through effective regulatory, policy and spectrum-management approaches. The organisation also provides training, capacity building, type approvals, network validation, disaster preparedness, and other services for the international satellite communications community.
  • IABM The International Association of Broadcast Manufacturers is the only trade association that represents the Broadcast and Media Technology supply industry worldwide, bringing the international supply community together to maximise their potential in the marketplace. The IABM is the authoritative voice of the industry and seeks to support member companies via a range of benefits, discounts, events, advisory services and training. The association is controlled by an elected members’ board. Day-to-day operational control is delegated to the Chief Executive and the members of the IABM Team who implement the board’s policies and facilitates the Technical and Exhibition Task Groups. The association also employs the specialist knowledge and skills from independent officers to deliver specific technical and editorial programmes. The IABM belongs to the Trade Association Forum which encourages the development and sharing of best practice among trade associations.

CASBAA and its members reach over 500 million connections within a regional footprint ranging from China to Australasia, Japan to Pakistan.
